A Day in the Life follows college student Nickolas Cripp as he moves from home to campus to the city, where he hopes to attend an open mic. Along the way he meets a thought-provoking teacher, friends who doubt his writing, and other characters who complicate a single ordinary day. The encounters push Nick to question his aspirations in comedy and who he thinks he is supposed to be. It’s a personal journey of self-discovery in a world that often feels meaningless — and the joke, it turns out, is on him.
